I have added approximately 20 plants including ground covers since my last posting here.

A few pictures of these plants, including dwarf sawara cypress, Jean's Dilly (R) dwarf alberta spruce found at Wegman's and a more recently added cotoneaster are shown below.

I have updated my plant listing, including my Spring 2013 order from MiniForest, local nursery purchases, along with an annual and perennial added this year.

Here are two of my ground covers with recent flowers.

Roses are also blooming now.

Two of my ground covers have expanded more than desired, in particular the creeping jenny that I am now starting to trim back.

Bad news - pine needles and leaves from burning bushes and dogwood trees cover the track switch area for back and forth in November 2013.

Good news - wind blows off all the leaves and most of the needles from the elevated track areas.

I used my electric leaf/grass blower to clear out the debris just one week ago, but will need to do it at least one more time.

As we all know, it has been a tough Winter for our garden railway plantings, as shown in this picture of my outdoor layout taken recently.
