About Us

The Southeastern Pennsylvania Garden Railway Society is a group of people in and around the greater Philadelphia region who enjoy the information sharing and fellowship from watching and operating outdoor model trains. Our membership extends from Allentown, PA to Newark, DE, and from Lancaster, PA to central NJ.

SEPGRS was formed in December 1989 by John Derr, Steve Wolfhope and Tom Gibbons. Since then, it has grown to be one of the largest clubs of its type in the country with about 150 members.

Anyone with an interest in outdoor model railroading is welcome to join. We exist to enjoy the experience of model trains and to expand the awareness of others who might not be familiar with this growing hobby.
